Lightware Modex DVI HD

A modular fibre transmission system capable of transmitting uncompressed video, audio and control signals simultaneously down one singlemode fibre core. Video signal connection is via HDMI, audio can be via RCA (SPDIF), HDMI (embedded digital), or Phoenix (analogue) and Ethernet is via RJ45. VESA resolutions are supported.

The system itself is addressable and can be controlled and monitored using Ethernet. Multiple units (both Tx and Rx) can be monitored via a single Ethernet connection, since the units themselves pass Ethernet as one of the signal types for extension. These units come flight cased in “brief case” style cases as a Tx/Rx set.

Both transmitter and receiver units have IEC connectors for direct connection to 220-240V power. Fibre connection is via female Neutrik Opticalcon Duo connector at each end so standard male – male fibre cables should be used.
